Pamela Nisevich Bede, MS, RD, CSSD, LD

Pamela Nisevich Bede is a certified specialist in sports dietetics and an expert in nutrition communications.  Pam’s mission is to translate the complex science of nutrition and metabolism into tangible and practical advice to inspire others to change their habits and improve health.

 

While at Abbott Nutrition, Pam was the Global Nutrition Lead at Zone Perfect Nutrition and Ensure and was previously the Manager of Nutrition Marketing at EAS Sports Nutrition.  Previous roles include an instructor at Miami University, the nutrition expert for the Runner’s World Marathon Challenge programme, and a clinical dietitian specialising in genetics, childhood obesity, and Type 1 diabetes.  She continues to work 1-on-1 with elite athletes through her private practice. 

 

Pam is the author of multiple books including Fuel the Fire (Avery 2022), Sweat. Eat. Repeat. (VeloPress 2019),and Run to Lose (Rodale 2015). Pam has also contributed to a variety of nutrition books, textbooks, running-centric reads, and athlete go-to cookbooks.   

 

Pam earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics from Miami University and a Masters of Science in Medical Dietetics from The Ohio State University.

 

When not busy encouraging others to reach for better health and performance via better nutrition, Pam is a keen marathon runner, coffee aficionado and loves coaching youth soccer and spending time with her family in the great outdoors.
