Robert Standley, PhD

Clinical Research Manager, Lingo

Dr. Robert Standley completed his BS in Kinesiology from San Jose State University, MS in Exercise and Sports Medicine from Western Michigan University, PhD in Human Bioenergetics from Ball State University, and a post-doctoral fellowship in metabolism at the Translational Research Institute for Metabolism and Diabetes at Advent Health. His research focused on skeletal muscle adaptations to lifestyle interventions (diet and exercise) and the underlying mechanisms involved in improving skeletal muscle growth/function and insulin resistance.

 

Before joining Lingo, Robert worked at Abbott Vascular where he managed post-market clinical follow-up for Vascular medical devices. He ran a post-market registry which collected real-world data on various medical devices that supported European Union Medical Device Regulation certification. 

 

Robert lives in California and enjoys spending time travelling with his wife, running and cycling, and playing golf.
